Dallas Commercial Roofing Services

KSI Commercial Roofing Dallas stays up to date on the best roofing methods and materials in the industry to ensure you get the best service throughout your roof installation process. We install roofing in a wide variety of materials to provide options for the different needs of our clientele. We pride ourselves in ensuring that each commercial roofing system we install offers excellent protection for our clients property using sustainable material such as PVC, EPDM, TPO, Metal, BUR with high rated insulation and sealants to reduce utility costs.

Depending on the current condition of your roof, your material of choice, and other factors, the roof installation process will vary. Our Dallas commercial roofers will answer all of your questions and provide the best suggestions for materials depending on the size and type of roof you have, along with your budget. Every jobsite is kept free of loose nails, debris, and other objects to ensure a safe and clean working environment.

There are a variety of options for commercial roof replacements. Because all roofs and customers’ needs vary, you may find differing opinions among commercial roofers regarding recommendations for roof replacement options due to the broad array of roofing systems and preferred material manufacturers. This can make it difficult to decide what is best for each situation. Do the higher priced, cutting-edge, energy-efficient products fit your needs? Or do you want a more traditional roofing system that’s less expensive and has been used for decades? Are you preparing to sell your building or do you plan on keeping it long term?

Our job at KSI Commercial Roofing Dallas is to help you decide what is best for you! To do that, we take pride in being able to give our customers as much information as possible. We do not have a “one-size-fits-all” solution. The first step is to educate the consumer on the material available that will suit their current needs. After presenting the building owner with all available information, we can help our clients make the best decision for their needs. Therefore, we will not try to force a solution that is not in our customers’ best interests.

Your roof is exposed to the elements every day, and the older the roof gets, the higher the likelihood it may begin to fail. Roof restoration is one of the least expensive approaches to refurbishing an aging roof. It’s a process that extends the life of the roof. The roof restoration boosts energy-savings, and in turn may reduce utility costs. If the roof is only mildly damaged and is fairly new, you may not have to have it replaced. To determine whether your roof needs replacing or restoring, we’ll inspect the roof first using specialized equipment. If your roof can be saved using restoration, we’ll apply a waterproof coating to the existing surface to boost its resistance to water and other elements.

A leaky roof can become a disaster if ignored. Never allow the roof to become so damaged that it poses a structural integrity threat to the entire building. Our roof repair services are available to quickly identify and repair the areas where leaking, cracking, or missing roofing can pose a threat to your property. Protect your building today by calling KSI as soon as you notice any sign of trouble, which can be dampness, mold and mildew, wetness, or sagging areas on the ceiling. The faster we solve the problem the less expensive it will be, not to mention the peace of mind a great roof repair brings. We offer professional repairs on all roof types and are available 24/7 for emergencies.

Any task involving construction can be daunting for a business owner. However, KSI Roofing Dallas is glad to hear from you and will be happy to inspect your premises to determine the exact cause of the problem and the right service required to get your roof back on track. Dallas TX Commercial Roofing Systems

Built-Up Roof (BUR)

BUR is a heavier type of roofing that is only installed on flat to low sloping roofs of 2″ or less. It consists of layered roof felt, bitumen, tar or cold adhesive, and stone. It’s ideal for roof-top decks and roofs that will be accessed for installation and servicing of equipment such as heating and cooling units. This roofing system will last about 20-25 years.

Metal Roof

Metal roofing is a great choice for an attractive and long lasting roof. It can last up to 70 years! It does a great job of reflecting heat, helping to reduce energy costs by 10-25%. It’s environmentally friendly as well. The majority of the metals are 25% – 95% recycled material and can be recycled at the end of the life of the roof.

Roof Coating
Applying a roof coating is a cost effective alternative solution to replacing the entire roofing system. Choosing a durable roof coating may help property owners delay the cost of a full roof replacement by extending the useful life of the existing roof for up to 10 years or more.
PVC Roof
PVC (polyvinyl chloride) roofing is a popular option for flat to low sloping roofs, bringing with it durability, resistance to the elements and harsh chemicals, and resilience. A PVC roof is an excellent choice for those regions where you need to be dry as possible, as this kind of roofing is created with hot-air welded seams that are stronger than the material itself. No caulking, tape, or adhesive required. PVC can also handle plenty of weight (350 lbs per square inch). It will last 25 years or more.
TPO Roof
TPO (thermoplastic Polyolefin) is a single-ply roofing material that you may have seen as a brilliant white roof on massive flat roofed commercial buildings. TPO is especially famous for its energy-saving benefits. TPO comes in 10, 12, or 20-foot wide sheets. This roofing system is effective and popular and make up 40% of the commercial roofing market share. Our Dallas commercial roofing contractors will assess your roof’s size and condition, how easy it will be to access, and other factors to determine whether your building is a perfect fit for TPO roofing.
EPDM Roofing
EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is the most modern choice and boasts an impressive record of long-term use of 50 years or more. It has the lowest carbon footprint compared to the other single-ply roofing systems. It offers a variety of application options for installation, reflectivity, and the membrane can be recycled at the end of it’s long service..Just like TPO, EPDM roofing is another single-ply membrane roofing system, with its differences from TPO arising from the chemical structure and energy-saving capabilities. EPDM roofing is also relatively easy to install, repair, and like most other rubber polymers, is remarkably durable and resilient against the elements. Our Commercial roofing Dallas TX company offers this material in black and white.

Infrared Thermography

What Is It

Infrared Thermology uses advanced technology. Specialty drones and equipment are used to survey the roofing system with certain accuracy. The inspection will result in imaging that detects any moisture content within the existing roof. The images will then be interpreted by a highly qualified technician which will provide a clear understanding of the current roof’s needs. This allows the client the ability to make an educated, fact based decision without any guesswork

Why It's Necessary

Commercial roof leaks can be tricky business and the source of the leak can be extremely difficult to locate. Water often travels from the original location of the leak and appears in a completely different location inside the building. In addition to the challenge of locating intrusion points, leaking areas aren’t always visible to the naked eye. Infrared Thermology results in fact based accuracy to locate moisture in the roofing system.

How It Works

When moisture finds a point of entry in the roof’s surface, it begins to penetrate the layers of insulation and the understructure of the roof. When this happens, an identifiable moisture signature is created which can be detected by infrared imaging.

During the day, the sun not only heats the roof but the moisture trapped below as well. And once the sun sets, the temperature of the roof begins to cool but the moisture trapped inside will retain it’s heat for a longer period of time allowing the Infrared Thermology to detect the hidden moisture.
